Community Guidelines
Effective October 7, 2026
Find a match and game chats connect Pick US Pickleball Club members who are about to play together. These guidelines apply to every invite, join request and chat message. You agree to them once, before you post an invite, ask to join a game or send a message.
Be respectful
Treat every player the way you would on court: with courtesy, patience and good sportsmanship. Disagree politely, and leave the conversation if it stops being friendly.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, bullying, insults or hate speech, including content that targets someone for race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age.
- Sexual content or sexual advances.
- Threats or encouragement of violence or self-harm.
- Spam, advertising, solicitation or anything unrelated to playing pickleball together.
- Sharing another person’s phone number, email, address or other personal information without their consent.
Adults only
Find a match and game chats are for adults (18 and over) who have signed the club waiver. Juniors keep booking and club-run sessions, but peer-to-peer matching and chat are closed to them.
Reporting and blocking
Every message and every player on an invite has a Report and a Block option. Reports go straight to the club’s staff, who review them. Blocking a player hides their invites and messages from you, and yours from them. You can also mute a game chat to stop its notifications.
What the club may do
The club’s staff can read game chats. We may remove messages or invites that break these guidelines, and we may switch a member off from Find a match and chat, temporarily or permanently. Game chats close shortly after the game and are deleted after 30 days.
